Yuste Foundation, Patrimonio Nacional and the Minas de Almadén Organise a Renaissance Music Concert

The Patio of the Royal Miners’ Hospital of San Rafael at the Minas de Almadén–Parque Minero will host a concert by the ensemble Camara Antiqva on 6 September at 8 p.m., which will perform the programme “Concierto de Extremadura al Nuevo Mundo”. This is a unique opportunity to enjoy the music of the time of emperor Charles V in a historic setting certified with the European Heritage Label.

The President of the European and Ibero-American Academy of Yuste Foundation’s Executive Commission and Director General of External Action of the Regional Government of Extremadura, Rosa Balas, closed the summer courses included in the programme Campus Yuste, which have been carried out at the Royal Monastery of Yuste –lasting three days each- (from Wednesday to Friday) since the last week in June. The courses are framed within the University of Extremadura’s International Summer Courses.

The Director of the European and Ibero-American Academy of Yuste Foundation, Juan Carlos Moreno, opened the course “Proposals for Preventing and Combating Radicalisation and Hate Crime in the European Context”, which will take place at the Royal Monastery of Yuste until Friday.

Over forty students from several European and Latin American countries attend the course “The Redefinition of the Social Contract in Latin American-European Union Relations: Current Responses to Global Challenges”, which will open next Wednesday, July 3, at 09:00 am, at the Royal Monastery of Yuste; a course that takes place in the framework of the Campus Yuste programme.
