Yuste Foundation Is Offering 105 Grants for the Campus Yuste Summer Courses
The European and Ibero-American Academy of Yuste Foundation is offering a total of 105 grants with the aim of covering tuition fees as well as accommodation and subsistence costs for participants in the Campus Yuste summer courses, which form part of the 27th edition of the International Summer–Autumn Courses of the University of Extremadura. The grants will be awarded through a competitive selection process.

Josep Borrell, 18th Carlos V European Award
The jury of the 18th edition of the Carlos V European Award, granted by the European and Ibero-American Academy of Yuste Foundation, decided to confer the award on the Spanish politician Josep Borrell Fontelles, vice-president of the European Commission and High Representative for the Union’s Foreign Affairs and Security Policy (2019–2024), and president of the European Parliament (2004–2007), “for his career, defence of peace, democracy, and European values, and his contribution to European integration and the advancement of the European Union’s external action, contributing to strengthening the Union’s role and leadership in the world during particularly delicate times”.

The doctoral thesis Pintura, comercio e intercambio cultural entre Sevilla y Nueva España (1620–1640), by Dr. Ester Prieto Ustio, has been awarded the 9th Research Prize to Ibero-American Doctoral Theses, organised by the European and Ibero-American Academy of Yuste Foundation. This study offers an in-depth understanding of the cultural and artistic exchanges between Spain and New Spain, highlighting the significance of transatlantic trade in the 17th century.
A Congress Organised by Yuste Foundation Analyses the Use of Digitalisation and Artificial Intelligence in International Relations
With the aim of exploring the links between technological changes and international relations, the European and Ibero-American Academy of Yuste Foundation, the University of Extremadura, and the Research Centre for Ibero-American Studies of Rey Juan Carlos University have organised the 7th International Congress on Relations between Latin America, the Caribbean, and Europe. This year’s edition, entitled “Digitalisation, Artificial Intelligence, and International Relations”, will take place on 1 April at the Royal Monastery of Santa María de Guadalupe.

Yuste Foundation Receives 31 Doctoral Theses from Eleven Countries for the Research Prize to Ibero-American Doctoral Theses
The European and Ibero-American Academy of Yuste Foundation has received thirty-one doctoral theses competing for the 2025 Research Prize to Ibero-American Doctoral Theses. The award aims to support the work of young researchers while fostering reflection and the exchange of ideas on Ibero-American and European topics. The submitted theses come from universities in Spain, Mexico, Ecuador, Argentina, Hungary, Colombia, Portugal, the United States, Cuba, France, and the Dominican Republic.
