COMUNICATION
The deadline to submit papers for the international congress on relations between Extremadura, Europe and Latin America is open
The European and Ibero-American Academy of Yuste Foundation together with the University of Extremadura and the Research Centre for Studies on Ibero-America of the Rey Juan Carlos University (CEIB-URJC) have opened the deadline for the presentation of papers for the 3rd International Congress on Relations between Latin America, the Caribbean and Europe, which is entitled “Images and Views on Both Shores” in this edition. The sessions will be held in Guadalupe (Cáceres) from 21 to 23 March 2023. (13/01/2023)
The call is addressed to researchers, doctoral candidates and doctors who have read their theses maximum ten years ago. The priority lines of the Congress, which the papers must conform to, are circumscribed to the historical relations between America and Extremadura and the historical international relations between Latin America and Europe. In order to facilitate attendance to the Congress, the organisation plans to grant up to fourteen financial grants that will cover the stay and maintenance in Guadalupe. Those interested in submitting a research paper can do so in Spanish, English and Portuguese until 31 January 2023 via the following email address: congreso.guadalupe@fundacionyuste.org
In addition, those interested in this activity may also attend the sessions as listeners. In this case, they would only be required to register for free.
The 3rd International Congress on Relations between Latin America, the Caribbean and Europe aims to further deepen the interaction between America and Europe; to advance studies on migratory flows between America, Extremadura and Europe, and increase the debate between the two regions through the research submitted.
