The acting president of the Regional Government of Extremadura, María Guardiola, has announced that the 19th edition of the Carlos V European Award, granted by Yuste Foundation, has been awarded to the European Committee of the Regions, an institution of the European Union which, for more than three decades, has structurally ensured the active participation of territories and citizens in the construction of the European project.
