Yuste Foundation Announces Ten Research Grants on the Impact of the European Union on the Lives of People with Disabilities
The European and Ibero-American Academy of Yuste Foundation has opened the application period for ten European Research and Mobility Grants for European Studies, entitled the “Carlos V European Award – European Disability Forum”, each with an individual award of 2,500 euros.

European values as a potential model for integration and progress in a global world have a leading role in an event with Sofia Corradi- Mamma Erasmus in Rome
The event, organised by the European and Ibero-American Academy of Yuste Foundation with the Office of the European Parliament in Italy and the Spanish Embassy in Italy, is included in the presentation of a book that includes the research work of the Sofia Corradi- Carlos V European Award Research and Mobility Grants for European Studies.

The European and Ibero-American Academy of Yuste Foundation has opened the period to submit nominations for the 14th Carlos V European Award, where people, organisations, projects or initiatives that have contributed to the knowledge of Europe’s values as well as to the process of European construction and integration are eligible.

The European and Ibero-American Academy of Yuste Foundation’s Board of Trustees met in Mérida under the presidency of the President of the Regional Government of Extremadura, Guillermo Fernández Vara, and approved its 2020 Action Plan, which includes a broad and diverse activity programme that will contribute to keep delving into the study and analysis of European reality as well as to foster and consolidate the ties between Extremadura, Europe and Ibero-America.

The European and Ibero-American Academy of Yuste Foundation presented the comic, El relato de Hernando de Bustamante. La odisea de la primera vuelta al mundo, by the illustrator from Extremadura, Roberto Massó, which is the 8th volume of the book collection, “Extremeños en Iberoamérica y Europa-Historieta”.
A CONFERENCE WILL DISSEMINATE THE SERVICE DONE BY LEADING FIGURES FROM EXTREMADURA IN THE NEW WORLD
The European and Ibero-American Academy of Yuste Foundation organises the conference, “American Memory. Recovering Leading Figures from Extremadura in the New World” tomorrow, 12 December -in Trujillo (Cáceres)-, in order to enhance the visibility of leading figures from Extremadura who hold some relation with Ibero-America and whose actions has been significant as far as history is concerned, although their service may not be so well known.
